Synopsis from Goodreads:

Ellen O’Farrell is a professional hypnotherapist who works out of the eccentric beachfront home she inherited from her grandparents. It’s a nice life, except for her tumultuous relationship history. She’s stoic about it, but at this point, Ellen wouldn’t mind a lasting one. When she meets Patrick, she’s optimistic. He’s attractive, single, employed, and best of all, he seems to like her back. Then comes that dreaded moment: He thinks they should have a talk.

Braced for the worst, Ellen is pleasantly surprised. It turns out that Patrick’s ex-girlfriend is stalking him. Ellen thinks, Actually, that’s kind of interesting. She’s dating someone worth stalking. She’s intrigued by the woman’s motives. In fact, she’d even love to meet her.

Ellen doesn’t know it, but she already has.

Review (71 words):
This book is balls to the wall crazy. You think you have a crazy ex? Think again! Ellen's dealing with a whole level of stalker ex that no one has ever seen before. Moriarty's writes suspense so well, and this book had me reaching for more. This book has the perfect blend of mystery, romance and all in all, great female growth and empowerment. The perfect blend if you ask me!

Rating:
5/5 Stars

Thanks for reading and see you next time!

My Favourite Read of 2020

In my year long break from blogging, I certainly spent a whole lot of time searching for THE BOOK. I'm sure you all know what I mean. I mean the book that literally makes you laugh out loud, and tear up, the book that will not leave your mind no matter how many books you read afterwards. And friends, I think I have found it (at least for the time being). Keep in mind that I am calling this post my best READ of 2020, not BOOK, because I am aware that this book was published in 2019. What can I say, I am a little late to the party of critical acclaim that this book seemed to have garnered! Audiobook Review: Princess Mia

Taken from  Goodreads Title: Princess Mia Author: Meg Cabot Narrator: Clea Lewis Format: Audio CD, unabridged Publishing date: 2008 (originally 2007) Publisher: Recorded Books Summary from  Goodreads: A Princess on her own . . . Mia has been invited to speak at a gala for Domina Rei, an elite society of powerful businesswomen. But what could she possibly have to say? Michael has broken up with her, her bff Lilly won't speak to her, and her parents are forcing her to see a therapist. Even J.P.'s efforts to cheer Mia up (he's being really sweet!) aren't helping. Just when things couldn't get worse, Mia discovers a long forgotten diary of a teenage princess of Genovia. It could be just the inspiration Mia needs to write her speech but what it reveals might change everything. Review (89 words): I'll just say it like it is, I loved listening to this book. I grew up on the Princess Diaries audio books, and this is nostalgia at its finest. I loved how...
